Description
This track shows the locations of transposon insertions in 53 of the Drosophila melanogaster Genetic Reference Panel (DGRP) lines that were predicted by the
Transposable Element Movement in Population (TEMP) program. The dataset for each strain was obtained from the Dr. Zhiping Weng's (Zlab) web site.
These datasets were filtered so that only the insertions that were supported by reads at both sides of the insertion (1p1) were kept. The filtered datasets were then combined into a single file. The score field corresponds to the number of DGRP lines which have the transposon insertion. The color of the feature corresponds to its repeat class:
Repeat Class | Description | Color |
TIR | Terminal Inverted Repeats (DNA Transposons)
LINE | Long Interspersed Nuclear Elements (Retrotransposons)
LTR | Long Terminal Repeats (Retrotransposons)
DINE | Drosophila Interspersed Nuclear Elements
Foldback | Foldback Elements
